November 1, 2009 by Bill Johnson (26 found) This was the second attempt to find this cache with unrewarding results. There were a lot of newly fallen leaves on the ground which didn't help. I am reasonably sure I have worked out the clues correctly. I will try again.

October 25, 2009 by CacheViewer (0 found) Greetings from a volunteer geocaching reviewer,FYI: Long standing 'Needs Maintenance' icon/issue This listing has had a "Needs Maintenance" icon on it for quite some time. You may have already taken care of the issue but the "Needs Maintenance" icon still remains. If there is an unresolved maintenance issue with this cache, however, please take care of it as soon as possible. See this article in the Knowledgebase (visit link) You should only log "Owner Maintenance" after you have physically visited your cache and determined that the cache is back in good shape. Incases of mistaken requests or requests that have been fixed by others you can post "Owner Maintenance" without a visit, An "Owner Maintenance" log on the cache page restores the cache to its fully-functional state, removing the colored cross. Some players ignore listings or create Pocket Queries to filter out geocaches that have "Needs Maintenance" attribute icons on them and will not search for them. Don't let players miss out on finding your cache! June 17, 2009 by MsFlutterby (363 found) On the way to Niagara Falls from the Buffalo airport we decided to stop and try for one before checking into our hotel for our vacation. We went to the battlefield and found the answers, did the math and ended up searching in a place that seems very much correct. I don't know if it was my complete exhaustion or if the cache was really hiding from me but I wasn't able to come up with it. If we have extra time in a day or two I might go back and give it one more try, but I'm guessing we'll probably keep ourselves pretty busy with all the things to see and do in Niagara. I loved the battlefield and am glad that I went and checked it out, even if I don't get a little happy face for this one! I'll try to remember to upload a picture or two from the battlefield when I get home! Thanks for bringing me here!
